Description:The property is currently used as a recording studio but previously was the powerhouse for the local tram station. This massive 1920s building is steeped in history. It has 16 foot double doors, which stand within a grand 20 foot archway. Down the sides of the building are huge 20 foot arch windows. The top of the building is adorned with expensive period Cornish decoration and the sculptured coat of arms adds an ornate touch to a spectacular building. The building boasts a high atrium, benefiting from vast quantities of natural light. Cream and aqua ceramic tiles add to the open plan interior. The sweeping hanging staircase and expensive wood panelling give the building its signature look.
