Description:The museum is situated on the site of a former aerodrome and includes hangars (with original Belfast trusses), an airstrip, a full equipped theatre, and other museum buildings. The museum houses over 100 aircraft, some of which are unique. The Milestones of Flight building was opened in 2003, with high viewing areas and state-of-the-art interactive technology. Outside are a World War II Spitfire and a World War II Hurricane. Some Second World War buildings with their original camouflage paint. A large car park.
