Description:Carnival Village is a community centre which houses a theatre and dance studio on the first floor. The ground floor has a gallery and new bar/restaurant. The roof houses music rehearsal rooms, a large semi-circle meeting room and the basement houses Mangrove steel bands' rehearsal rooms. The Grade II listed Victorian building has an unusual redbrick and terracotta Romanesque curved exterior with arched doors and two short, spiral towers and the inside has been sympathetically refurbished. There is a front courtyard and garden with ornate wrought iron gates. The theatre and dance studio retain the original beams. As well as two spiral staircases, there are two lifts.
