Whitehall is an historic timber-framed Tudor house museum situated in a conservation area, amidst weather-boarded cottages in Cheam Village. The upper storey of the house projects out over the lower storey. Originally a timber-framed wattle and daub building, the weather-boarding was added in the 18th Century. Features include a 16th Century staircase tower and a well.
