Description:The four star hotel, conference centre and club are set in 25 acres of landscaped grounds on the banks of the Thames. The hotel has 155 bedrooms and extensive catering facilities. The hotel was built in 1938 and much of original panelling and some of the wooden flooring remains on the ground floor. The leisure facilities include a large swimming pool, extensive gym, 24 squash and tennis courts and a boat house. The conference centre is a 1970-1980s building, which has decorated in a contemporary style. The main leisure facilities are from 1990.The main hotel is a redbrick 1930s building in a grand style, with two wings making it an H shape. The drive into the Lensbury is round a circular driveway with well-established trees in the middle.
