Description:Sports and Fitness Centre at Albert Bridge Road, Battersea Park was launched in June 2000. The facilities include an eight-lane running track, 19 floodlit tennis courts, two multi-purpose all weather playing surfaces, changing and showering accommodation for athletes, fitness centre with cardiovascular and resistance machinery, an aerobics studio and sauna. The original track was built in the 1920s. In May 1999 the old pavilion was replaced with a new two-storey one and the eight-lane running track was upgraded. The downstairs of the pavilion is for athletics changing and the upstairs is a fitness centre.
