Description:The Church of Saint Mary was built under an Act of 1788 and is a remarkable venue for filming and photo shoots. It forms part of the Paddington Green conservation area. The Georgian church was designed by John Plaw, and with a floorplan in the shape of a Greek Cross. It is built in yellow brick and dressed with white stone, and set in an extensive graveyard. The church was restored in the early 1970s. The church has many fine monuments to local luminaries. It can seat an audience of about 500 people and is the permanent home of the Little Venice Music festival and the Chamber Music in Little Venice. The Parish Hall is available for short term hire and represents an ideal rehearsal space of just under 2,000 sq ft with high ceilings and an abundance of light.
