Description:Launched in 1869, the Cutty Sark is the last surviving tea clipper. She has been in a specially constructed dry dock at Greenwich since 1954. The ship closed to the public in 2006 for extensive conservation work and re-opened in 2012. The Dry Berth is the space beneath the ship's gleaming copper hull. The Tween Deck was originally used to store goods being transported from all over the world; it now houses exhibits on trade routes and life on board the ship. The Master's Saloon has mahogany panelling and the captainn's table. The Weather Deck offers spectacular views of Canary Wharf. The ship contains a collection of figureheads, including representations of Hiawatha and Florence Nightingale. The main mast is 152 feet high.
