Description:Cavendish Square was first developed in the early 1700s. The formal square is laid out on a circular plan enclosed with a perimeter hedge. There are clusters of mature trees, ornamental garden lawns and flower beds and a low circular grass mound. The Royal College of Nursing has its headquarters in Cavendish Square, the West London Synagogue is sited there, and John Lewis backs onto the square. There is an underground car park situated directly under the square.
