Description:The Grade II listed Town Hall was designed in 1935 by HR Collins and AEO Geens in the International Moderne style. It was extended in 1960 in the same style and materials. There is also an 1988 wing There is a full-height entrance hall with tall central staircase windows and narrow sidelights. The Council Chamber and Committee corridor have columned entrances and the Council Chamber retains its public gallery, dado panelling, dais and large skylight.
