Description:West India Quay is a large, paved quayside area next to North Dock in Canary Wharf. The quayside is lined with Victorian warehouse buildings that are now converted into residential and retail units. There is a museum with cobbled area outside, several bars and restaurants. At the eastern end of the quayside, there is a DLR station and a hotel. Several historic cranes and buoys stand at the water's edge with modern metal fencing. Views across the dock of Canary Wharf estate with modern glass, skyscraper buildings and post- modern office blocks. The bridge is also owned by Canal & River Trust and in the dock there are several permanently moored barges and a pleasure yacht.
