Description:Located close to the banks of the Thames, Teddington School was purpose-built in 2010 with three- and four-storey structures designed around a top-lit central atrium. In addition to standard classroom accommodation, there are learning 'break-out' spaces and movable classroom walls allow for a wide range of configurations. There is a central performance space, with tiered retractable seating and an integrated sound and lighting system. With the seating retracted and the walls in place, two high quality teaching spaces are formed. The library sits at the heart of the open three-storey building. Outside are a purpose-built outdoor "social space", an outdoor ecological classroom, two full-sized all-weather sports surfaces and a recreation ground.
