Description:This historic botanic garden is London's oldest outdoor classroom, founded by the Worshipful Society of Apothecaries in 1673. Lecture room and reception room also available. The buildings are mainly Victorian and the walled garden is an historic site and English Heritage listed. The garden includes Europe's oldest rockery, a statue of Sir Hans Sloane, fernery, pond, pharmaceutical garden, garden of world medicine, dye and cosmetic plant beds, London's largest olive tree.
