Description:
The Greenwich Foot Tunnel is a pedestrian tunnel under the Thames, linking Greenwich and Tower Hamlets. It was opened in 1902. The entrance shafts at both ends lie beneath glazed domes, with lifts and spiral staircases down to the white glazed tile-lined tunnel at the bottom.
