Description:In 2008 the Design Museum selected the former Commonwealth Institute building on Kensington High Street, West London, as its new home. The unique landmark from the 1960s, a Grade II* listed building was transformed by a design team led by John Pawson who made the building fit for a 21st Century museum. The museum now offers multiple spaces available for hire; from the dramatic, triple height Atrium to stylish dining spaces, versatile galleries and an auditorium.
