Description:St Mary’s Walthamstow reopened in December 2022 after a major restoration by Matthew Lloyd Architects; the result is a beautiful period church with clean and modern accents. In addition to being a working church, the Grade II* building is a beautiful heritage venue for filming, concerts, meetings. The parish church dates back to the 13th Century. The architectural style is a combination of Norman, Gothic and Tudor influence. The church retains over 150 brasses and monuments, the oldest dating back to the 1400s.
