Description:Brentford Dock is a private estate situated between the Thames opposite Kew Gardens and the entrance to the Grand Union Canal. It has approximately 600 flats, including some maisonettes and four town houses built in the 1970s brutalist style, and a shop. There is a marina with approximately 60 boats with direct access to the river. Above the marina is a disused bar, kitchen and a room. The marina bar leads to a huge warehouse roof with steps down to the riverside gardens. At the entrance to the estate is an octagonal residents' club room with a large kitchen, and smaller television room. There are large numbers of underground garages. Parking for trucks is on the bridge and private road above the canal, adjacent to the first Thames lock.
